Do you sometimes wish you could experience a greater sense of inner peace?
In Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong, the Water Element offers many powerful gifts, including inner peace. By strengthening the Water Element, you can unlock its potent qualities of peace, tranquility, and contentment.
There are several ways to cultivate the Water Element, and one of these is through Qi Gong. In this blog, you’ll discover two powerful Qi Gong exercises designed to strengthen your Water Element so you can experience all of the gifts it has to offer.
First, let’s start by establishing a basic understanding of the Water Element.
In Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong, there are Five Elements that exist within you. These include Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth.
Together, the Five Elements comprise your being and influence you in many different ways. Each Element offers unique qualities that contribute to your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Additionally, each Element is connected to specific parts of your body as well as a different season.
The Water Element relates to your kidneys, bladder, bones, and endocrine system. Therefore, it’s important to keep your Water Element strong in order for these parts of your body to stay healthy and vital.
The Water Element also relates to the season of winter. During winter, the natural world is abundant with the energy of Water. If you live in the northern hemisphere, this means that right now is the perfect time to focus on cultivating the Water Element.
In addition to the physical parts of your body mentioned above, the Water Element also plays an important role in your mental and emotional health. If your Water Element is out of balance, you may experience fear or insecurity. On the other hand, when the Water Element is strong, you’ll feel a deep sense of peace and tranquility. In other words, you experience a feeling that everything is alright.

Now that your energy is activated, it’s time to do a nourishing flowing exercise.
